This policy explains what personal information we collect on foxyhome.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers visitors to the website and members of our Referral Program portal.

 

What we collect

If you browse the site. Our website runs on the Wix platform, which sets cookies and collects standard technical information (browser type, device, pages visited, approximate location from IP address) to make the site work, keep it secure, and show us how it is used. The chat widget, if you use it, collects the messages you send.

If you register for the Referral Program. We collect what you enter on the registration form: your name, company or brokerage, email address, phone number, city, your professional designation, your licence number (RECO or FSRA), and how you heard about us. To keep a reliable record of your consents, we also record the date and time you registered, the consent statements you ticked, the exact version of their wording, the page you registered from, and your IP address and browser identifier at that moment.

If you sign an agreement. Agreement signing is handled by DocuSign, who process your name, email, the details you enter while signing, and the signed document itself. Completed documents and their signing certificates are stored in our DocuSign account.

Licence verification. We check the licence number you give us against the public registers of the relevant regulator (RECO or FSRA). Those registers are public; we store the result of the check.

 

How we use it

• To create and administer your portal account and program access.

• To verify your professional licence and keep it verified.

• To prepare, send, and store your program agreement.

• To send program emails — updates, reminders, and follow-up materials — where you have consented. Every program email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects essential account emails such as password resets.

• To keep the site and portal secure, prevent abuse, and keep records the law requires us to keep (including proof of consent under Canada's anti-spam legislation).

We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run parts of our operations, under their own safeguards: Wix (website, member accounts, forms, email delivery), DocuSign (electronic signatures), and Microsoft 365 (internal document storage). We may also disclose information where a law, regulator, or court requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as you participate in the program, and afterwards for as long as we need it to meet legal and regulatory obligations — including records proving consent and executed agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

 

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from program emails at any time using the link in any of them.

• Access and correction: you may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it.

• Withdraw consent: you may withdraw consent to our collection and use of your information, subject to legal and contractual limits — this may mean ending your program participation.

• If you are unsatisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
