Our Process
Follow the 3 easy steps below, to secure the rental property of your choice!
Apply
Complete a rental application for the property you are interested in.
STEP 1
Reserve
Submit a minimum payment of $100 towards your last month's rent, to secure the property. This is 100% refundable if your offer is declined.
STEP 2
Upload
Upload all required documents to the SingleKey.com portal within 3 days, once your offer has been accepted.
STEP 3
How Does One Get Verified?
Your identity and income documentation are gathered by our Rental Application. These are examined by a team of specialists at FoxyHome by PCMNow, who will screen and reorganize your data. Verified by FoxyHome will provide you with a blockchain-encrypted file that can be shared with a prospective landlord. This file verifies to any prospective landlord that you have completed our proprietary application and FoxyHome has verified your employer, your income, your salary, and we have completed a verified credit and financial background check.
Required Documents
Please ensure you upload clear, easy-to-read PDF files of all required documents to the SingleKey.com Management document portal, within 3 days of your Offer to Lease being approved.
Government Issued ID
Must display legal name, date of birth, and signature. Can be any of:
- Canadian Passport
- Foreign Passport
- Canadian Citizenship Card with photo
- Canadian Permanent Resident Card with signature
- Record of Landing (IMM 1000)
- Confirmation of Permanent Resident (IMM 5292) accompanied by a valid passport from country of origin
- Report Pursuant to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IMM 1442) with photo.
- Student Authorization/Study Permit (IMM 1442)
- Employment Authorization/Work Permit (IMM 1442)
- Visitor Record (IMM 1442) -
Temporary Resident’s Permit (IMM 1442) (formerly Minister’s Permit/Extension of Minister’s Permit)
- Secure Certificate of Indian Status Card (issued on or after Decembe 15, 2009, by Indian & Northern Affairs Canada
